Generosity of Citizenship students

Every year, the SAA Year 10 GCSE Citizenship students are challenged to raise money through sponsorship for the Shoe Box Appeal (a charity that works to organise shoe boxes full of gifts for children in countries less fortunate than the UK).

This year 55 GCSE Citizenship students took part and between them raised an astonishing £1100!  A truly amazing effort!

Students embarked on a range of sponsored challenges from sponsored silences, to bike rides, walks, food challenges and mobile phone bans.  In all 38 shoe boxes were sourced, carefully & beautifully wrapped in festive paper and then filled with their gifts! Well done Year 10 Citizenship students!
