Year 8 Spanish tapas tasting

Students in Year 8 Spanish lessons were given the chance to try some typical Spanish delicacies as part of the current topic of food. Each class was invited to bring in food from home which they had made or bought, and then try out new foods in order to write opinions in Spanish about their experiences. Students were able to have a taste of food such as chorizo (spicy sausage), patatas bravas (fried potatoes and spicy tomato salsa), tortilla española (Spanish omelette) and aceitunas (olives). Every student tried something new and enjoyed the experience, and some were able to come up with some impressive sentences in Spanish. Well done to everyone who brought in food - ¡qué aproveche! (Happy eating!).
