Model History students

Students in Key Stage 3 have made some incredible models as part of their History course. Year 7 were challenged to make models related to the Norman Conquest of 1066 and its aftermath; a number of stunning castle models ensued, and these were matched by some wonderfully authentic Norman kite shields. In Year 8, the study of World War One generated models reflecting the horrors of trench warfare, with so many excellent examples, and one model even having a push-button function which read “Dulce et Decorum Est” to the listener. History teacher, Guy Hewett, said, “I am so proud of these amazing examples of work by the talented historians of SAA.” To see the gallery of photos of a selection of the amazing models – click here
