Academy student qualifies for Olympic Trials

Academy student, Callie-Ann Warrington from Maidstone Swimming Club, has qualified to swim at The British Nationals being held in Glasgow from 12th April 2016.  Callie-Ann swam 50m freestyle at the Kent County Championships at The London Aquatics centre in a time of 27.09 seconds.
However, not only are these Swimming Championships, they are also the Olympic trials for both Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.

Callie-Ann has been a member of Maidstone Swimming Club since the age of 7 and started swimming at Maidstone Leisure Centre when she was 16 weeks old.  It has also been her goal to achieve a National time and she would like nothing more than to be able to represent her country at the Olympics.
Congratulations to Callie-Ann on this amazing achievement.  We all wish you the best of luck for the trials in April.
