Maths camp 2

Following on from the huge success of the first Maths Camp in February, a second group of year 11 students went to Carroty Wood in Tonbridge for a weekend for an intensive Maths revision course. As with the first group, the revision had a little added extra – an equally intensive outdoor activity course!

Challenges included clambering up poles, along ropes suspended high above the trees, jumping across to trapezes and very carefully making their way up a terrifyingly high climbing wall. There was also a little calming swimming as a relaxation after the intense outdoor activities.

Staff and students thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and yet again, showed that a weekend such as this can be an innovative way to increase those vital exam results.
