Peter Pan Extravaganza

‘One of the most enchanting performances that has ever taken flight within St Augustine Academy’.
‘Peter Pan the musical’, an amateur production presented by special arrangement with Samuel French Ltd., took to the stage last week with a cast a crew of over 120 students from years 7 – 11. A truly magical experience for all, with excellent performances throughout. Our Academy council Chair, Mr  Reidy, said:

‘From the opening, strong performances were evident and the production worked exceptionally well with all aspects of a uniformly high quality. Acting, singing, dancing, lighting, set design, costumes and make-up, stage management and scene changes were all carried out with equal professionalism.

As always, students involved put in 100% effort and achieved excellent performances. However, particular mentions have to go to Mollie Sunnucks as the ‘everlasting boy’, Peter Pan, Molly Capon & Poppy Howell who shared the role of Wendy and Isaac Lee & Daniel Saunders performing one night each as the dastardly Captain Hook.

The Performing Arts department would like to thank everyone who came to the production and supported our young people. We wish you all a very merry Christmas, God Bless.
