Last week's report:
Mrs Seale, our Director of Learning for year 10, is keen to let all parents/carers know about an exciting event that is taking place at the Academy on Friday 16th July.
The countrywide Cancer Research 'Race for Life' will be taking place on our playing fields - subject to the weather of course!
Students will be completing the 'Race for Life' in Year group relays.Year 7 will start us off at 8:40, Year 8 will be 9:40, Year 9 will be 11am and Year 10 will be at 12noon.
Students can wear their own clothes, either PE kit or an appropriate alternative. they should also bring a water bottle.
We are aiming to raise as much as we can for the Cancer Research charity and would ask the parents/carers would be generous in donating.
There are 3 ways to donate.
1- £2 in the bucket (Wednesday / Thursday / Friday)
2- You could sponsor a child - sponsorship forms have already been given out
3- Or donate via the Academy’s direct link - Click here
Please support our students as generously as you can as every penny will go towards research to endeavour to find ways to eliminate this disease. Thank you!
