Year 8 students have been studying Natural Hazards and Plate Tectonics in their Geography classes this terms. This has proved to be a very popular topic and all groups have really engaged with their learning.
However, when it came to their homework task, they really excelled themselves. Students were asked to create a model of the Earth’s layers but what sounded like an extremely difficult task was tackled with an amazing amount of skill, imagination and care in producing the models.
Their teacher, Ms Daniels, said: “the effort and quality of the models have been astounding. Some students have even baked cakes to show the layers too! I am very proud of their efforts – well done year 8!”
