The inaugural Key Stage 4 celebration evening took place on Thursday 14^th July 2022.   

The Academy’s Main Hall was packed with students, their families and staff, all looking forward to the awarding of certificates, rewards and trophies to some of our hardest working students. 

Before taking their seats in the Hall, all our visitors were able to enjoy a colourful display of work in the foyer comprising of examples of fascinating and imaginative pieces by students in Art.

The presentation of awards was led by Mr Feldwick.

As well as subject awards for students for Years 10 & 11, there were two Sporting Excellence Awards given to Oscar Cole for Boxing and Elizabeth Pragnell for Skiing, publicly recognising their outstanding talents and also fantastic sporting honours to date.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of 5 very special awards:

1. The Woodard Board prize – Erin Jarvis Baker – Year 10
2. The Jeannie Sebell Award – Billie Fleming – Year 10
3.  Year 10 – Outstanding Achievement – Emily Sullivan – Year 10
4. Year 11 – Outstanding Achievement – Katie Sampson – Year 11
5.  The Academy Council Award – Ethan Jarvis-Baker – Year 11

During the evening we were also treated to a beautiful musical item performed by the hugely talented Amy Cindric who played ‘Interstellar’ by Hans Zimmer on the piano.
