The Academy’s annual Christmas card competition for students in years 7, 8 and 9 always inspires lots of beautifully designed entries which makes it very difficult to choose the prize winners. However, Mrs Rickett has announced that 1^st prize this year has gone to Poppy Milsom for her excellent design and beautifully presented piece of art work. It’s a lovely snow scene at the North Pole includes pine trees and a sleigh drawn by reindeers.

Ally To gained 2^nd place with a drawing of a snow globe containing Father Christmas and the 3^rd prize winner was Noah Pickard with a bauble covered tree and ‘Merry Christmas’ message.

Poppy’s winning card will now be used to represent the Academy as it becomes our ‘official’ Christmas card which is sent out by Mr Ball to all the local primary schools and all other ‘official’ correspondence.
