Canterbury Cathedral visitPosted on: 14th Jun 2019
Year 9 GCSE RS students have just visited Canterbury Cathedral as part of their subject unit ‘Living the Christian life.’ This amazingly beautiful building is one of the greatest historical sites not just in Kent, but in the whole of the country. As well as being a holy place it is also part of a World Heritage Site.
Canterbury Cathedral is the Mother Church of the worldwide Anglican Communion and seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Students were given a personalised guided tour and took part in a Eucharist dedicated to the students and staff at SAA.
