BackA Wonderful Easter Service to Remember
Posted on: 2nd Apr 2025We were delighted to celebrate a truly memorable Easter service this term, led by our Chaplain, Mrs. James, alongside our school Governor, Reverend Richard Braddy from the Canterbury Diocese. Held in the school hall, the service brought together students, staff, and—for the first time—parents, in a moving and meaningful celebration of the Easter message.
One of the most significant moments of the service was the opportunity for communion, with over half of our students taking part. It was heartening to see so many young people engage thoughtfully and reverently in this important aspect of Christian worship. We are pleased to share that communion will now become a regular part of our school year, offering students further opportunities to grow in faith and reflection.
Adding to the special atmosphere, the KS3 choir delivered a fantastic performance, which was enjoyed by all in attendance. Their voices filled the space with energy and joy, and many parents commented on how moving the music was.
This Easter service also marked a milestone as the first one to which parents were invited. Their presence brought a wonderful sense of community to the occasion, and we were thrilled by the overwhelmingly positive feedback. It was truly a great success, and we look forward to welcoming families to more of our services in the future.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. James, Reverend Braddy, the KS3 choir, and all those who helped make this Easter celebration such a meaningful and memorable event.
